  • The International Air Transport Association

    The International Air Transport Association (IATA) is the trade association of airlines. Our 240 members comprise 84% of the total air traffic (source: http://www.iata.org/Pages/default.aspx)

    We have 8 years of experience with IATA, the International Air Travel Association, vice-chairing, contributing, participating and observing on the IATA’s special cargo boards and groups such as LAPB – Live Animals and Perishables Board (http://www.iata.org/whatwedo/cargo/live-animals/Pages/index.aspx ), dedicated to designing governing regulations for live animal and perishable cargo transportation by air, and TTTF  – Time and Temperature Task Force within the LAPB (http://www.iata.org/whatwedo/cargo/pharma/Pages/index.aspx) dedicated specifically to Healthcare Cargo transportation by air.   • International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations

    International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations is a non-governmental organisation, represents today an industry covering approximately 40,000 forwarding and logistics firms, also known as the “Architects of Transport”, employing around 8 – 10 million people in 150 countries.

    FIATA has consultative status with the Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) of the United Nations (inter alia ECE, ESCAP, ESCWA), the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD), and the UN Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).

    It is recognised as representing the freight forwarding industry by many other governmental organisations, governmental authorities, private international organisations in the field of transport such as the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), the International Air Transport Association (IATA), the International Union of Railways (UIC), the International Road Transport Union (IRU), the World Customs Organization (WCO), the World Trade Organization (WTO), etc.

    National Association of Freight and Logistics,  the NAFL was the Arabian Gulf’s first national freight forwarders association. Founded in February 1992 in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, NAFL was formed primarily to bring together in one body all the major players in the UAE freight forwarding, logistics and shipping industry.
